Alan Moore is Being a Real Dick

Don’t get me wrong. Alan Moore is one of my favorite comic book writers of all time (though Grant Morisson is soon to overtake him), but crapping all over the Watchmen film just because he doesn’t like Hollywood is just a lot of bluster.

I liked it better when he was content to simply say he had no interest in films based on his work and that was it. Hexes? Venom? Shut up with that.

It is so unecessary when despite his disgust, he’ll be receiving a big, fat fucking check from this film and yeah, I know he’ll give it to the artists that worked on it but so what?

How about being humble enough to appreciate that you work is influencing other people and media instead of being a self-righteous prick.

FYI, I still think Alan Moore is the awesome shit!
